Features Swiftly record two-person interviews, podcasts, and vlogs straight to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with the RODE SC6-L ultracompact 2x2 Lightning audio interface and a pair of TRRS-equipped microphones (mics available separately). Pocket-friendly and bus-powered, the SC6-L is perfect for keeping your setup small and simple while maintaining quality and enjoying app-based optimization.At one end of the SC6-L, you'll find two 3.5mm TRRS jacks to accept signal from microphones such as the Rode smartLav+ lapel mic, Rode VideoMics (in conjunction with TRRS adapters), and third-party microphones with the appropriate TRRS outputs. Between the two TRRS jacks is a 3.5mm headphone output for monitoring the incoming signal to make sure it is clean and free of distortion. At the other end of the interface, a short cable is terminated with a Lightning connector, which connects directly to your iOS mobile device to facilitate convenient and clear recording at digital resolutions up to 24-bit / 48 kHz, making it a broadcast-quality unit. Use the SC6-L with the Rode Reporter app to change preamp gain, switch between summed stereo or dual-mono record modes, and turn direct monitoring on or off, all from your Apple mobile device (iOS 11 or later required). Alternatively, you can use the SC6-L with other audio/video apps such as the onboard Camera app, GarageBand, Voice Memos, and more. Easy Two-Person Recording Strapped with the SC6-L and a couple TRRS microphones (available separately), you can easily capture two-person interviews, podcasts, and vlogs to your Lightning-equipped Apple mobile device in record time. Dual 3.5mm TRRS Mic Inputs Separate 3.5mm TRRS mic inputs are provided on the SC6-L to accommodate two TRRS microphones such as the Rode smartLav+ lapel mic, Rode VideoMics (in conjunction with TRRS adapters), and third-party microphones with the appropriate TRRS outputs. Real-Time Headphone Monitoring Connect earphones or headphones to the 3.5mm headphone port to monitor your input signal or the playback from a recording. No Batteries Required Since the SC6-L is bus powered through the Lightning connection to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod, no batteries are needed. App-Based Optimization When using the SC6-L with the Rode Reporter app, you can adjust the mic preamp gain, choose between summed stereo and dual-mono recording, and enable/disable direct monitoring from your Apple mobile device.
